THE TURTLE AND THE MOUSE DEER

Back in the days when animals could talk, there was a competition between the turtle and the mouse deer. They wanted to know their ability to pass the forest quickly.
The mouse deer determined the route. The route was in the land of the forest. They would start the competition tomorrow morning. They prepared themselves for the important competition. In the morning, the mouse deer and the turtle were ready for the competition. The mouse deer said “ Are you ready to defeat me?”. The turtle answered “ Of course, I am ready to defeat you”.
In the morning, they started the competition, and ran as quickly as possible. The mouse deer overtook the turtle easily. Finally, the winner was the mouse deer. The turtle was disappointed and it wanted one more competition. The mouse deer agreed with it because it was sure to win.
They would decide the competition next week. For some days, the turtle thought about the other route. “I’ve got an idea”, The turtle said, “I’ll choose the shorter route but we’ll across the land and the river”. The time arrived; the competition started. The turtle explained about the route and the mouse deer agreed to the route. First, the mouse deer led nonetheless the turtle ran slowly but it was sure to be a winner. In the middle of the route, the mouse deer was confused because it couldn’t swim. It just kept silent and thought about the way to pass the river. Suddenly, the turtle appeared. The turtle told the mouse deer, “What are you doing here?”. The mouse deer couldn’t answer. The turtle continued the competition and swam the river easily. Finally, the turtle won the competition. The mouse deer was sad because it had lost.
After they had finished the competition, they met again the next morning. They didn’t look angry at each other since they were conscious that way could’t finish their competition. They thought together how to pass the route as quickly as possible. “I have an idea,” the mouse deer said. “What’s your idea?, “, asked the turtle. “The short distance was the second route, wasn’t it?” the mouse deer said. When we run on the land, I’ll carry you and when we passed the river, you’ll carry me. “Do you agree?” asked the mouse deer. The turtle was happy to hear that brilliant idea. “Okey, I agree with you”, it replied. They were happy, they could work together. Finally, they run and they could arrived at the route quickly. All are winners.
The moral of the story is quite simple,” We need teamwork for the best result and friendship is the basis for our lives.”
